If door hinges are of the welded variety, then a door hinge adjuster is needed. Normally a hinge adjuster comes with a variety of heads to suit the thickness of the door hinge, but this new example from Power-TEC (part number 92445) is fully adjustable (from 0 to 42mm), so no need for any additional heads.

The compact head design fits snugly around the welded hinge, and is then adjusted to fit. The 69 centimetre length and strong, heavy construction, make it easy to control and apply the right amount of leverage to the hinge.
