Vehicle window trim mouldings can be difficult to remove — they’re easy enough to fit, just place over the door flange and tap into place with a soft mallet — but removing? Tempting to try and lever off with a flat-bladed screwdriver but you’ll damage the paintwork on the outside and dent the trim panel on the inside. There has to be an easier way! This special window trim moulding puller from Power-TEC (part number 92626) has a very flat, wide profile and is designed to slip down between the window glass and the moulding. With the hooked side facing away from the glass, as the puller is lifted it grasps the lower edge of the moulding, allowing it to be lifted off with no damage to the moulding or the paintwork.

The handle has a soft-grip coating to provide a secure grip, while the wide blade helps prevent bending of the moulding being removed. You’ll wonder how you did without it.
